Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Mandy, a homeschooling mama of two on a journey to live and learn with intention, curiosity, and connection. At Homeschool Adventures, I share resources, reflections, and real-life experiences from our family’s learning journey, rooted in nature, guided by rhythm, and fueled by wonder.
Our Story
We started homeschooling when my oldest daughter was struggling to fit into traditional systems that didn’t honor her unique learning style and challenges. What began as a short-term experiment quickly blossomed into a lifestyle that gave us the freedom to learn together, explore the world, and build a life around our values.
Now, with my youngest by my side and a deep love for gentle parenting, outdoor play, and worldschooling, we’ve embraced a path that allows us to follow the seasons, chase curiosity, and find magic in everyday moments, whether in the garden, on a road trip, or around the kitchen table.
What You’ll Find Here
This space is for homeschoolers, roadschoolers, worldschoolers, and curious families looking to do things a little differently. Here, you’ll find:
Nature-based homeschool ideas that are simple, seasonal, and screen-light
Playful learning resources for preschoolers and early elementary ages
Travel-inspired learning from road trips to primitive skills gatherings
Printable guides and planners to help you stay grounded and intentional
Support for sensory, neurodivergent, and solo homeschooling families
Reflections on breaking cycles, nurturing resilience, and learning together
I believe that homeschooling doesn’t have to look like school. It can be wild and joyful and deeply healing. I also believe in honesty about how hard this path can be sometimes, and how worth it it is.
